This Album Was Meant For Mars! Legit. It was made specifically to go to Mars!
Grade 7 students at Caledonia Regional School in New Brunswick, Canada, wondered if they made a Soundtrap music album with a Mars 2020 theme, could it travel to Mars on the new Martian Rover's hard drive? Here are 10 epic tracks that if carried to Mars aboard the Rover will make these kids legends on two planets! At CRHS we dream big and this is the biggest dream yet. Can this album be the first music album on Mars? Why not? It's meant for Mars!

Track 1: Vision - Lily and Dane
Always open an album with epicness. Imagine hunderds of years from now when humans find this album on the long defunct Rover and this song plays. This captures the simple beauty of Earth and humanity in an opening track that sets the bar high for the rest of this out-of-this-world album!

Track 2: Clarity - Claire and Olivia
This track has an ending that is fit for a basement club in Holland or on Mars. Man oh man this tune gets the interplanetary party started right away. Check out the ending and try not to pump your fist in the air!

|
Track 3: Promise - Alex C and Alfred
The promise we made to Earth but couldn't or wouldn't keep. This flashback song is intended to remind future human colonies on Mars about the importance of keeping promises on our new red world. It's all wobbles & whistles at first, then, sad synth over break beats.

Track 4: Fortitude - Kaleb and Owen
If Cypress Hill and The Weekend had a baby and sent it to Mars...well... this would be that baby! What an absolutely hardcore song to crank when cruising Mars in your newest Tesla. It's catchy...try not to sing this later today if you can help yourself.

|
Track 5: Courage - Emma and Marissa
The parachute opens and Perseverance Rover sees Mars for the first time. Robot or not it takes Courage... or as the kids say COURGE which must be the robot form of courage. Flight time is over Rover...now it is time to explore! Be brave!

Track 6: Ingenuity - Alex T
Imagine all of those NASA engineers working on the Rover in a time-lapse kinda way. This song is made to accompany that scene of the experts moving around, and, to and from the Rover as it takes shape. Add Jamaican keyboards and you've got a FUN song celebrating genius.
|
|
Track 7: Endurance - Corbin and Jack
Vocoders and not enough wood blocks on Earth or in this song! This song brings the Space Force as you envision the Mars 2020 Rover barreling through Space at unearthly speeds. Enjoy this high energy jam!
|
|
Track 8: Perseverance - Landyn and Brandon
A track name that represents the Perseverance Rover perfectly. Meant to be that jam that is needed to get up over a sandy ridge on Mars this track ends with catchy synth that will shake any stereo. Our artist Mya chose the Rover track treads to illustrate an ongoing perseverance!
|
|
Track 9: Tenacity - Liam and Alex
A gritty song strategically placed at the end of an otherwise beautiful and melodic album. This song represents the last few moments of the Rover's life when it looks like we might lose control but then all of a sudden Perseverance gives us many more glorious days and data.

Martian March - Mr. Kelly
What's that in the distance? Dust devils? The Sun playing tricks on us? What did Perseverance just capture over there? Martian March is a fantasy "What if?" track at the end of this album for fun. Imagine if Perseverance finds life..... and it's marching :)
